Plot

Merlin has magical powers and arrives at the city of Camelot, after his mother arranges for him to become an apprentice of Gaius. OVERVIEW

The fifth season of the American serial drama television series Lost commenced airing on the ABC network in the United States and on A in Canada in January 2009, and concluded with a two-hour season finale on May 13, 2009.^[1] The season continues the stories of the survivors of the fictional crash of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815, after some of them are rescued and those still stranded seemingly disappear to an unknown location and time with the island that they inhabit.

According to Lost's co-creator/executive producer/writer/show runner Damon Lindelof, the season "is about why [the people who have left the island] need to get back".^[2] Lost returned on January 21, 2009 on ABC with a three-hour premiere consisting of a clip-show and two back-to-back new episodes. The remainder of the season aired on Wednesdays at 9:00 P.M. EST ^[3] The season began in the UK and Ireland on Sunday January 25, 2009 on Sky1 and RTÉ Two, respectively.^[4] The season was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc under the title Lost - The Complete Fifth Season: The Journey Back, Expanded Edition on December 8, 2009.^[5]

The fourth season of the American serial drama television series Lost (also known previously as Lost: The Return) commenced airing on the American Broadcasting Company Network in the United States,^[1] and on CTV in Canada on January 31, 2008 and concluded on May 29, 2008. The season continues the stories of a group of over forty people who have been stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific, after their airplane crashed there more than ninety days prior to the beginning of the season.^[2] According to Lost's executive producers/writers/show runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, there are two main themes in fourth season: "the castaways' relationship to the freighter folk"^[3] and "who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back".^[4] Lost came under scrutiny from critics in its third season, but the fourth season was hailed for its flashforwards, pace and new characters.^[5]

The season was originally planned to contain sixteen episodes; eight were filmed before the start of the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike.^[6] Following the strike's resolution, it was announced that only five more episodes would be produced to complete the season;^[7] however, the season finale's script was so long that network executives approved the production of a fourteenth episode as part of a three-hour season finale split over two nights.^[8] Buena Vista Home Entertainment released the season on DVD and Blu-ray Disc under the title Lost: The Complete Fourth Season – The Expanded Experience on December 9, 2008 in Region 1;^[9] however, it was released earlier—on October 20, 2008—in Region 2.^[10]

The third season of the American serial drama television series Lost commenced airing in the United States and Canada on October 4, 2006 and concluded on May 23, 2007. The third season continues the stories of a group of over forty people who have been stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific, after their airplane crashed sixty-eight days prior to the beginning of the season.^[1] In the Lost universe, the season takes place from November 28 to December 21, 2004. The producers have stated that as the first season is about introducing the survivors and the second season is about the hatch, the third season is about the Others, a group of mysterious island inhabitants.^[2]

In response to fan complaints about scheduling in the previous seasons, ABC decided to air the episodes without reruns, albeit in two separate blocks.^[3] In the United States, the first block consisted of six episodes aired on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm and after a twelve week break, the season continued with the remaining sixteen episodes at 10:00.^[4] In addition, three clip-shows recapped previous events on the show. "Lost: A Tale of Survival" aired a week before the premiere, "Lost Survivor Guide" aired before the second block^[5] and "Lost: The Answers" aired before the finale.^[6] Buena Vista Home Entertainment released the season under the title Lost: The Complete Third Season – The Unexplored Experience on December 11, 2007 in Region 1.^[7] It is available as a seven-disc boxed DVD set and as a six-disc Blu-ray Disc set.^[8]

OVERVIEW

The second season of the American serial drama television series Lost commenced airing in the United States and Canada on September 21, 2005 and concluded on May 24, 2006. The second season continues the stories of a group of over forty people who have been stranded on a remote island in the south Pacific,^[1] after their airplane crashed forty-four days prior to the beginning of the season. The season takes place from 4 to 27 November 2004. The producers have stated that as the first season is about introducing the survivors, the second season is about a 1980s scientific Dharma Initiative research station the survivors call the "hatch."^[2]

The second season aired Wednesdays at 9:00 pm in the United States. In addition to the regular twenty-four episodes, three clip-shows recapped previous events on the show. "Destination Lost" aired before the premiere, "Lost: Revelation" aired before the tenth episode and "Lost: Reckoning" aired before the twentieth episode. The season was released on DVD as a seven disc boxed set under the title of Lost: The Complete Second Season – The Extended Experience on September 5, 2006 by Buena Vista Home Entertainment.^[3]

Overview

Former insurance investigator Nate Ford and his band of cohorts act as modern-day Robin Hoods, pulling elaborate scams targeted against the greedy and the corrupt. The team was formed in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles headquarters in Season One. With their headquaters demolished and faces known, they disbanded at the end of the season. They reformed in Boston after persuading Ford to lead them again, and have set up a new base in Ford's loft apartment. However, after a con involving the corrupt city mayor, they were forced to move out once again, this time leaving Ford, who left himself as a bargaining chip.

Legend Of The Seeker Season 1

Plot

The story takes place in the world author Terry Goodkind created in his The Sword of Truth fantasy novel series. The three main provinces are Westland, the Midlands and D'Hara. Westland is separated from the Midlands by a magical boundary, which was created to prevent any magic from entering Westland. On the other side of the Midlands is D'Hara, which is ruled by Darken Rahl. The Confessors oversee the welfare of the people of the Midlands.

The first season is loosely based on the first book of The Sword of Truth series Wizard's First Rule. Some of the stories feature events and characters not encountered in the books, while other loosely adapt events from the book. The story begins after the invasion of Darken Rahl's army into the Midlands. Kahlan Amnell (Bridget Regan), a Confessor, ventures into Westland in search of a wizard and the Seeker, who has been prophesied to defeat Rahl. Kahlan finds the wizard, Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander (Bruce Spence), and the Seeker, Richard Cypher (Craig Horner), who is forced to accept his destiny. Together, they set off on a journey to seek out Rahl and his minions. Though, as they soon discover, their quest will not end with Darken Rahl, but that the Seeker's journeys are only just beginning.

Las Vegas Season 4

Background

The series originally centered around Ed Deline, a strict ex-CIA officer who went from Head of Security to becoming President of Operations of the Montecito, whose job is to run the day-to-day operations of the casino. Following his departure from the series in Season 5, former Marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel), Ed's former protege, has become the Montecito's new President of Operations.

Other characters that work with McCoy include current Head of Security and Surveillance, and former Head Valet, Mike Cannon (James Lesure) who plays an integral role in investigations due to his engineering degree from MIT.

Danny's childhood friend and ex-fiancée, Mary Connell (Nikki Cox), worked at the Montecito first as Event Director then got promoted to Hotel Manager in the third season until leaving at the end of the fourth season.

Nessa Holt (Marsha Thomason) was the Montecito's pit boss and "best pit boss in Las Vegas" until her departure at the end of the second season to live with her father and sister.

Samantha Jane "Sam" Marquez (Vanessa Marcil), a businesswoman and self-proclaimed "best casino host in the world," has one goal: to get high rollers to play at the casino.

Ed's daughter Delinda Deline (Molly Sims) serves as the Entertainment Manager, and runs all the food and beverages in the casino. She is currently living with Danny after previously having a romantic connection with him early in the first season.

The ownership of the casino has changed quite a bit with A.J. Cooper (Tom Selleck) as the sixth owner.

TNT has been airing reruns of the series since the fall of 2007.

Background

Background

Following his departure from the series in Season 5, former Marine Danny McCoy (Josh Duhamel), Ed's former protege, has become the Montecito's new President of Operations.

Other characters that work with McCoy include current Head of Security and Surveillance, and former Head Valet, Mike Cannon (James Lesure) who plays an integral role in investigations due to his engineering degree from MIT.

Danny's childhood friend and ex-fiancée, Mary Connell (Nikki Cox), worked at the Montecito first as Event Director then got promoted to Hotel Manager in the third season until leaving at the end of the fourth season.

Samantha Jane "Sam" Marquez (Vanessa Marcil), a businesswoman and self-proclaimed "best casino host in the world," has one goal: to get high rollers to play at the casino.

After a 10-episode debut season on ABC Family during Summer 2006, news reported a total of 23 new episodes were ordered for the second season, which started on June 11, 2007, with rebroadcasts on ABC beginning on June 15, 2007.^[1] The second season’s 13th episode, “Leap of Faith”, aired on Monday, September 3, 2007; the remaining 10 began airing on January 12, 2008.
